Teacher of Maths
Job description
A secondary school in Bury, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, is looking for a passionate and committed Maths Teacher to join their team starting September 2025. This role offers an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers seeking to work in a supportive and innovative environment with a strong emphasis on mathematics and student success.
Main Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

Assess and track student progress in line with the national curriculum and school policies

Help students develop essential mathematical knowledge and problem-solving skills

Participate in extra-curricular activities and contribute to the wider school community

Collaborate with colleagues to maintain and improve teaching standards

Candidate Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Expertise or substantial experience in teaching Maths

A strong commitment to promoting high standards of learning and behaviour
