Job description

A secondary school in Bury, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, is looking for a passionate and committed Maths Teacher to join their team starting September 2025. This role offers an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers seeking to work in a supportive and innovative environment with a strong emphasis on mathematics and student success.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

  • Assess and track student progress in line with the national curriculum and school policies

  • Help students develop essential mathematical knowledge and problem-solving skills

  • Participate in extra-curricular activities and contribute to the wider school community

  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain and improve teaching standards

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
