Maths Teacher – Secondary School – Tameside

Inspire, Challenge and Elevate: A Permanent Maths Teaching Opportunity

Location: Tameside
Start Date: September 2025
Pay: £150–£220 per day (based on experience)
Contract: Full-time, ongoing

We are recruiting for a passionate and qualified Maths Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Tameside. This is a full-time teaching role starting in the new academic year, with a supportive leadership team and excellent facilities.

Role Summary:
You will teach Maths to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You’ll be expected to:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging Maths lessons

  • Differentiate your teaching to meet diverse learning needs

  • Use assessment data to inform planning and track progress

  • Contribute to the Maths department’s continuous improvement

You Will Need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or ECT status

  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for Maths

  • A commitment to raising attainment and encouraging a love of numeracy

  • A collaborative mindset and a willingness to contribute to the wider school

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
