Exciting Opportunity: Teacher of Maths Needed in Andover Secondary School

Are you passionate about unlocking the mysteries of mathematics and helping students build a solid foundation in numerical reasoning? Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Teacher of Maths to join a dynamic secondary school in Andover, starting September 2024.

Key Details: Start Date: September 2024 Location: Andover, Hampshire ⏰ Full-Time Position Teaching Key Stage 3 and 4 Longer-term position with potential transition to temp-to-perm

What You'll Do:

  • Inspire students to develop a love for mathematics through dynamic and interactive lessons.
  • Teach across the age and attainment range at both Key Stage 3 and 4, covering a wide range of mathematical topics including algebra, geometry, statistics, and more.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners, providing support and challenge as needed to ensure every student reaches their full potential.
  • Foster problem-solving skills, logical reasoning, and mathematical literacy in students, helping them develop the skills they need to succeed in further education and beyond.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the school's Maths curriculum, incorporating innovative teaching methods and resources.

Who We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Maths Teachers with experience teaching Key Stage 3 and/or 4.
  • ECTs qualifying this year are encouraged to apply.
  • Unqualified teachers with relevant experience or a passion for mathematics education are also welcome to apply.
  • Enthusiastic individuals with a genuine love for mathematics and a desire to inspire the next generation of mathematicians and problem-solvers.
  • Strong communicators with excellent classroom management skills.
