Teacher of Maths

Teaching Personnel is working with a well-regarded secondary school in Alton to recruit a dedicated Teacher of Maths from September 2025.

The Role
You’ll be teaching Maths across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, creating engaging lessons that develop confidence, problem-solving skills, and a genuine enjoyment of the subject. This is a full-time position that includes lesson planning, marking, and active involvement in the wider school life.

• Unqualified Teachers with strong subject expertise in mathematics

• Graduates with a maths-related degree looking to move into teaching

What you will be doing:

• Deliver dynamic, inspiring, and well-structured maths lessons

• Track progress and provide targeted support for all learners

• Create a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere

• Collaborate with colleagues to share ideas and resources

Essential skills and requirements:

• Degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject (desirable but not essential for unqualified applicants)

• Good classroom management and a proactive approach to learning

• Enthusiasm for teaching and inspiring young people

• An enhanced child workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
