Teaching Personnel are delighted to be working alongside our high achieving partner secondary school located in Stockport to recruit for a Teacher of History ahead of the new academic year. This is an exciting position for a Teacher of History to join a reputable school within a progressive role. The school welcome applications from both experienced and newly qualified Teachers of History.

• Full time teaching position of History to KS3/4
• Required to start from September 2018
• Ofsted graded GOOD school
• Pay in line with MPS/UPS dependant on experience (£22,917- £38,633)

As a result of internal promotions within the Humanities department, the Head teacher of this popular secondary school is seeking a dedicated Teacher of History to join them on their way to Outstanding. The incoming Teacher of History will be given full support within the role and allowed opportunities to progress within the school.

In the school's most recent Ofsted report the behaviour of the pupils was highlighted to be impeccable. The staff and students are proud of the school and there is a positive ambience in all aspects of school life. This is largely down to the changes made in Senior Leadership. Consequently, this is a fantastic time to join the school.

Our partner school currently caters for just over 700 pupils but numbers are increasing year on year due to the significant progress made by the school. The large majority of students are from White British backgrounds and the numbers eligible for pupil premium funding are slightly above the national average at the present time.
