Teacher of English – KS3 & KS4 – September Start – Tameside

Pay Scale: M1 – UPS3

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and enthusiastic English Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Tameside from September. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging English lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality English lessons to a range of student abilities.

  • Track and assess pupil progress using department policies.

  • Support students in achieving their full academic potential.

  • Contribute to a dynamic and collaborative English department.

  • Participate in extracurricular activities and whole-school initiatives.

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.

  • Experience teaching English to KS3 and KS4 students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
