Job description

Teaching Personnel is working with several Schools in the Dorchester area who are in need of extra support. They are seeking Supply Teachers and Teaching Assistants in the area who are seeking Part-Time work on an Ad-hoc, block or Long-term basis. 

Supply or Cover Teacher role would be best suited to a newly Qualified Teacher, this is a great way to get to know the schools in the area and also have control over the hours you work. If you are looking to build your teaching experience, without making a commitment to stay in one place then registering with Teaching Personnel as an agency is a great opportunity.

Role:

  • Delivering pre-planned work for Key stages 1 & 2.
  • Choose the days / hours you would like to work. 
  • Create a warm and welcoming learning environment.
  • Make sure pupils are engaging in the lesson.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • NQT / QTS - Qualified Teacher Status in UK.
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.
  • Safeguarding Certificate.
  • Enhanced Child Only DBS on the Update Service. (TP can assist with this)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
