***Teacher in charge of Design Technology needed from Easter, or September***

An exciting opportunity for you to design and create outstanding learning and achievement for our children has arisen.

We are seeking an experienced Design Technology teacher in the secondary phase of our all-through school. The successful candidate will be a problem solver, looking for opportunities to craft engaging explorations and discoveries from any aspect of school life. The successful candidate will be able to enthuse pupils and staff alike. The ability to teach A level would be an advantage.

We are looking for an outstanding teacher who has had experience as a second in department, or leading an aspect of Design Technology within the secondary setting. This post would equally suit either a practitioner wishing to take their first step into leadership of a department or someone with more experience in middle leadership.

At the heart of our vision is a school which nurtures children to achieve great things, challenges them to apply their learning in our extended day activities and inspires them to engage in a rigorous, academic curriculum creatively.

In September 2018, we are moving into our brand new campus. This will be state of the art, modern glass and steel structures which will surround the newly renovated Victorian convent, providing a spectacular and unique learning environment with specialist DT workshops.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
