Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a permanent, full time role within education?
Teaching Personnel are currently looking for experienced individuals to work 1:1 with children within a school setting. You will be working closely with children, other Teaching Assistants and Teachers in order to set and achieve targets with children within the school.
For this role you will be working both inside and outside of the school gates and therefore must hold a full, clean driving licence. (Mileage for this can be covered). As a Teacher Assistant you will support academic and vocational subjects and be working with children who may display challenging behaviour, therefore a good understanding of behaviour management empathy is needed to ensure the children remain calm and happy in varied situations.
There are a range of locations that we are looking for Teaching Assistants for, including St Austell, Launceston and Camborne.
Required qualifications for this role are:
Level 2 or above in; Teaching Assistant qualification, Supporting Teaching and Learning, Childcare, Health & Social Care, Adult social Care.
In order to be successful for this role you will need a minimum of 3 months experience of working with children in a professional environment, this could be as a:
- Teacher Assistant
- Sports Coach
- Child Minder
- Youth Worker
- Counsellor
- Camp Counsellor / Instructor

This role is Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 15:30 and will include working within the school gates, supporting academic subjects as well as off of the school site encouraging vocational learning and activities.
