Support Young Learners - Flexible Teaching Assistant

Pay: £90–£105 per day
Are you a dedicated Teaching Assistant passionate about making a positive impact in primary schools? Teaching Personnel is looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support pupils and teachers in local primary schools across the BS14 area this September.
The Role:
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive learning experiences across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
- Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development in a nurturing classroom environment.
- Help manage behaviour and encourage positive interactions among pupils.
- Provide one-to-one or small group support as directed by the teacher.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and supportive school environment, following safeguarding procedures.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, pupils, and parents to support each child’s progress.
The Ideal Candidate:
- A caring, patient, and adaptable person passionate about supporting children’s learning and wellbeing.
- Experience working in schools or with children is desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with pupils, teachers, and parents.
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.
- Flexible and reliable, available for full-time or part-time supply cover in BS14 schools.
- DBS cleared with the Child Workforce Update Service or willing to apply.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
