Support Worker - Seven Sisters

A specialist school in Walthamstow are currently seeking an experienced support worker to help provide a supportive framework for students with social emotional and mental health needs who display challenging forms of behaviour. The role requires lots of group support and 1:1 behaviour intervention as you will be assisting students with Social Emotional Mental Health needs.

The role:

As a support worker, you will be using your experience to support students in a KS3 class with Social Emotional Mental Health needs. There are 8 pupils in the class and each have a tailored education health care plan that is followed. You will be providing 1:1 support for pupils when needed and also manage small groups of three when needed.

You will become part of highly motivated team who have dedicated their time to introduce a supportive framework assisting those with social emotional and mental health needs.

• Enhanced DBS - Child Workforce only
• Highly motivated to supporting young people with Social emotional mental health needs
• Able to use their own initiative in supporting students with challenging behaviour
• Encourage students who are vulnerable and support them on a 1:1 basis
