Job Title: Support Worker – SEN School & Residential Setting
Location: Ribchester, Preston, PR3
Salary: £13.75 per hour
Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week, including early and late shifts)

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at a specialist school and residential setting for children and young people aged 8–18 with Autism Spectrum Disorder and associated complex needs. Set within over 20 acres of beautiful countryside, our facility offers a nurturing environment where each young person receives tailored education and care to help them achieve their personal best.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day support to children and young people, assisting with daily living tasks to ensure their well-being and safety.
  • Support educational activities and foster positive learning environments.
  • Organise and participate in social activities, including outings and holidays.
  • Maintain the home environment through tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and shopping.
  • Collaborate with clinical professionals and local authorities to meet the needs of the children and young people, in line with OFSTED regulations.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or childcare.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Care qualification is desirable.
