Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: Blackburn
Hours: 8:00 AM – 3:20 PM, Monday – Friday
Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking an enthusiastic, adaptable HLTA to join our alternative provision in Blackburn. This is an exciting opportunity to work with students in KS3 and KS4 across a wide range of subjects, supporting them in their academic journey and personal growth.

What we’re looking for:

  • A flexible, motivated professional who is confident in supporting and delivering lessons across a variety of subjects.

  • Strong communication skills to engage with both students and staff.

  • A genuine passion for working with students who face challenges in their learning.

  • An understanding of the importance of breaking down barriers to learning, with a focus on inclusion and student well-being.

  • Experience or an eagerness to support students in overcoming their individual learning needs.

Your Role:

  • Providing high-quality teaching support to students across various subjects (KS3/KS4).

  • Helping students with additional learning needs to engage and make progress in their learning.

  • Creating an inclusive and positive learning environment.

  • Supporting students in achieving their potential by removing barriers and offering tailored support.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
