Support Worker – Secondary Alternative Provision
Location: Burnley Area
Salary: £13.75 per hour
Start Date: September 2025
Full-Time: Monday to Friday
Temporary to Permanent Opportunity

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? We're looking for a dedicated and motivated Support Worker to join a Secondary Alternative Provision in Burnley. This is an exciting opportunity to support students in a school setting, helping them achieve their best while making a positive impact in their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day support to students in a school environment

  • Assist with school transport, ensuring safe travel for students

  • Support out-of-school trips and outdoor education activities

  • Work closely with teaching staff to promote a positive and inclusive learning experience

What we’re looking for:

  • A caring, patient, and proactive individual

  • Experience working with young people in an educational or similar setting (desirable)

  • Willingness to support students on transport and during outdoor activities

  • A commitment to providing the best support for students' needs
