Support Worker – Secondary Alternative Provision
Location: Burnley Area
Salary: £13.75 per hour
Start Date: September 2025
Full-Time: Monday to Friday

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? We're looking for a dedicated and motivated Support Worker to join a Secondary Alternative Provision in Burnley. This is an exciting opportunity to support students in a school setting, helping them achieve their best while making a positive impact in their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day support to students in a school environment

Assist with school transport, ensuring safe travel for students

Support out-of-school trips and outdoor education activities

Work closely with teaching staff to promote a positive and inclusive learning experience
What we’re looking for:

A caring, patient, and proactive individual

Experience working with young people in an educational or similar setting (desirable)

Willingness to support students on transport and during outdoor activities

A commitment to providing the best support for students' needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
