Teaching Personnel currently work with a number of specialist schools who cater for children with Special Educational Needs. Whilst we are always recruiting staff to work alongside the pupils during the school day as a Teaching Assistant, we are also seeking candidates who are willing to support the students on a residential basis also.
The home is a comfortable and warm environment that supports the needs of children between the ages of 4-12 who have complex needs which include autistic spectrum condition and their focus is to support the young people to develop their life skills and independence in a fun and nurturing way.
As a Support Worker, you will:
- Support our young people with their daily life routines, which may include supporting them during the Education day and other fun social activities
- Encourage positive behaviours and caring for the well-being of the young person
- With the support of the wider team of staff within the home and school to ensure the young people reach their full potential
- Be required to work flexibly and to undertake shift work including early shifts, late shifts and weekends.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
