Supply Teachers Required in Thurrock

Date posted : 26/02/18
£120 - £150 per day + Paid via PAYE

Job description

This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...

Teaching Personnel is actively seeking to recruit newly and fully qualified teachers to work in primary schools across the Thurrock area. If you are a teacher looking for regular work that is flexible and don't want the responsibility of full-time teaching then this could be perfect for you! We are exceptionally busy within the Thurrock area meaning that we require additional teachers to cover from 1 to 5 days per week in local schools on a flexible basis.

Working as a supply teacher is extremely flexible and can fit around almost any other commitments or jobs that you may have. Once you are fully vetted with Teaching Personnel, you are supplied with your own personal online diary allowing you to update your availability on-the-go and work whenever you want to. This can allow you to work as little or as much as you wish to each week, including the ability to just work mornings or afternoons if required. We will pay you weekly and ensure that we are finding you placements that you enjoy and that suit what you are looking for and we pay all our teachers via PAYE as standard unless otherwise requested, so you are not hit with any hidden umbrella company charges ensuring you take home all of your hard earned money.

We work with a fantastic selection of primary schools who all require additional cover in the instance of absences or gaps within the staffing team or timetable. This means that you may be required to cover PPA, intervention groups, full class teaching days or pupil progress meetings. As supply is required across all age groups, we are looking to recruit teachers of all backgrounds with specialisms in EYFS, KS1, KS2 and SEN. Supply suits teachers who: have recently qualified and are seeking experience across a range of different settings, have semi retired but would like to stay within schools, who are working in a part-time role but are seeking additional work, teachers returning from a longer term absence and of course any teacher who is looking for a more flexible work/life balance!

If you are a qualified primary school teacher and looking for supply work in the local area, or know someone who is, please call us on 01245 206760 or send your CV via the details provided and your dedicated local primary consultant Chantal will be in touch ASAP to proceed with your registration

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
