Supply Teacher - Wigan

Are you a supply teacher that is looking to increase your workload this academic year?

Or, are you a teacher seeking an introduction to a long term/permanent role this academic year?

If so, Teaching Personnel are seeking to expand their team of teachers and wish to hear from you!

Due to an increase in demand this academic year, Teaching Personnel aim to recruit a number of fully qualified teachers that are able to provide short and fixed term cover at various secondary schools across the Wigan LEA.

Supply Teacher;

  • Supply teacher's required - Daily, fixed term and long term teaching roles available.
  • Applicants must hold QTS and experience teaching in a secondary school environment.
  • Guaranteed work across a number of our partner secondary schools located in Wigan.
  • Attractive rates of pay available

This is an excellent opportunity if you are a fully qualified teacher wishing to gain work that is related to your subject specialism or are looking to increase your current workload within a number of local secondary schools.

Alternatively, Teaching Personnel are able to work actively and support you gain the necessary introductions required to secure a number of long term/permanent opportunities this academic year.

Any teachers interested in this opportunity are required to;

  • Have completed a PGCE (11-16 or further education accepted.)
  • Ideally have their own form of transport (Not essential but preferable due to some schools requesting staff at short notice.)
  • Have or be willing to apply for a DBS and register it to the update service.
