Supply Teacher

Date posted : 30/07/20
£90 - 180 per day

Job description

This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...

On behalf of my workforce partner in BD13, I am curently recruiting for daily supply teachers. These positions will be for the the Septemberer/October term but could be extended and will looked at again when the DFE and government guidelines are updated/changed. With a real focus being placed on catch up and intervention I am looking for teachers and NQT’s who can jump straight in and help make a difference, early! My workforce partner is a non-denominational, non-selective school, welcoming boys and girls from every background within the local community. Currently housing around 1500-1600 students, the school is full of energy and learning!

The successful teachers will be assigned to a year group in the school and will stay with that year group to help assist and deliver content. Staying with one year group will reduce the risk of interaction around the school and help reduce the risk of the saftey bubbly being broken.

My workforce partner is a typically busy secondary school in BD13. Ideally I am looking for educators with experience working with Secondary aged pupils, or the desire to work with secondary aged pupils. Having a central BD3 location means the school is easily accessible by car or public transport links.

The school has a clear vision and ethos that is easy to follow and needs to be upheld at all times from the successful candidates. The vison of the school is evident in everything they do and some of the keys asprects are as follows:

Students always come first. They can all achieve great things.

Students deserve great, engaging teaching day in and day out

The curriculum responds to the needs of all students and prepares them for the world of work.

Are you a qualified teacher without a September role then this could be an ideal fit? Are you an NQT without a September role? This again could get your face in to the schools, in front of important decision makers.

This role will be a full time, September start in BD13. Applicants will be considered on a first come basis until the roles are filled. Interviews would be happening as soon as Schools leaders see a CV they like and are interested in.

If this sounds like the next opportunity for you, then please send an updated CV to Brian from the Leeds Bradford Secondary Branch for immediate consideration.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
