Are you dedicated to supporting young people with Special Educational Needs to thrive academically and personally? If you’re based in or around Poole, TP Tutors would love to hear from you.

We are recruiting SEN Tutors to provide 1:1 or small group tuition in core subjects such as Maths and English for learners who benefit from additional support outside traditional classroom environments.

Role: SEN Tutor (SEND Support Opportunities Available)

Location: Poole and surrounding areas 

Hours: Flexible – Part-Time or Full-Time


Your Impact

  • Design and deliver personalised learning sessions

  • Support pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH, and additional needs

  • Build positive relationships that encourage engagement and confidence

  • Provide tuition in home settings or appropriate community locations

  • Help learners overcome barriers and achieve meaningful progress


✅ What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN/SEND

  • Ability to teach Maths and/or English at primary or secondary level

  • Based in Poole or able to travel within the local area

  • Empathetic, patient, and adaptable professionals

  • A strong understanding of safeguarding and inclusive practice

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
