About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teachers to work across a range of secondary schools in the Preston area. The successful candidates will be confident delivering lessons across different subjects, managing classroom behaviour effectively, and quickly building rapport with students and staff. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects and year groups
• Maintain a positive and engaging learning environment
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Mark work where required and provide feedback to pupils
• Adapt quickly to different school settings and teaching requirements

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Previous teaching experience in a UK school setting
• Strong classroom management skills
• A flexible, reliable, and proactive approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
