Supply Teacher
Job description
Teaching Personnel are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Supply Secondary Teachers to join our pool and cover lessons across a range of mainstream secondary schools in Bristol. This is a great opportunity to gain varied experience, work flexibly, and make a positive impact in different school communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the school’s curriculum and lesson plans.
- Manage classroom behaviour to maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
- Adapt quickly to different school settings and follow the host school’s policies and procedures.
- Support student learning and progress, providing assistance as needed.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with students, staff, and, where appropriate, parents.
- Complete any required administrative tasks, including attendance and marking.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
- Be punctual, reliable, and flexible to meet the needs of the schools.
What we’re looking for:
- Qualified secondary school teacher with QTS or equivalent.
- Experience teaching in secondary school settings.
- Ability to manage classrooms effectively and engage students.
- Adaptable, reliable, and professional approach.
- Willingness to travel to different schools in the local area.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
