Salary: £130 - £140 Per day

Job Description

Job Duties:

• Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher
• Follow lesson plans provided by the school and ensure the smooth running of the classroom
• Manage student behaviour effectively and create a positive learning environment
• Provide feedback to regular teachers on student progress and any issues that arise

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Enhanced DBS check
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

• Previous experience working as a teacher in a classroom setting
• Experience working with students of varying abilities

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
• Organisational skills and the ability to manage classroom dynamics

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional training in special educational needs (SEN)
• Experience with virtual learning platforms

Working Conditions:

• Work in a school environment following the school's policies and procedures
• Potential travel to different schools within the area
• Full-time hours with occasional requirement for additional duties or cover

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
