Nursery Practitioners Needed – Across Newcastle
Are you a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner seeking flexible and rewarding work in vibrant early years settings?
We’re currently recruiting experienced and passionate Early Years Practitioners for nurseries across Newcastle. This is a fantastic opportunity to join supportive teams dedicated to providing high-quality care and education for young children.
About the Role:

Job Type: Temporary/supply with potential for longer-term placements

Location: Various nursery settings across Newcastle
-
Hours: Flexible (full-time or part-time, term-time or year-round options available)
Key Responsibilities:

Support children’s development in line with the EYFS framework
-
Deliver creative, engaging, and age-appropriate activities
-
Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
-
Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
-
Adhere to safeguarding and health & safety procedures
-
Encourage children’s personal, social, and emotional growth
Requirements:
-
Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (or equivalent)
-
Experience in a nursery or early years setting
-
Solid knowledge of the EYFS and child development
-
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
-
Friendly, professional, and reliable approach
-
Paediatric First Aid certificate (required)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
