About the Role:

• Job Type: Temporary/supply with potential for longer-term placements

• Location: Various nursery settings across Newcastle

• Hours: Flexible (full-time or part-time, term-time or year-round options available)

Key Responsibilities:

• Support children’s development in line with the EYFS framework

• Deliver creative, engaging, and age-appropriate activities

• Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment

• Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues

• Adhere to safeguarding and health & safety procedures

• Encourage children’s personal, social, and emotional growth

Requirements:

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (or equivalent)

• Experience in a nursery or early years setting

• Solid knowledge of the EYFS and child development

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)

• Friendly, professional, and reliable approach

• Paediatric First Aid certificate (required)
