Sports Graduate – SEN Support Role
Full-Time | Immediate Start | Education Sector

Are you a Sports Graduate looking to build experience in the education sector? Are you passionate about supporting young people and making a real difference?

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join a specialist education setting supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This is a full-time role, starting as soon as possible, offering an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in schools and develop skills essential for a career in education, therapy, or youth work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with SEN in their academic, social, and physical development.

  • Use your sporting background to engage students through physical activities and movement-based learning.

  • Assist in delivering tailored activities and interventions designed to meet individual needs.

  • Work closely with teaching and support staff to create an inclusive and positive learning environment.

  • Promote resilience, independence, and confidence in students.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a recent Sports Graduate or have a strong background in sport, physical education, or coaching.

  • Have a genuine interest in working with children and young people with SEN.

  • Be patient, proactive, and adaptable to different learning styles and needs.

  • Be confident in building positive relationships and managing behaviour effectively.

  • Be committed to full-time work and able to start immediately.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
