Calling all Sports specialists!

- Are you an experienced Sports Graduate interested in working in a mainstream Secondary School environment?

- Do you hold a sporting degree and have an interest in education?

Teaching Personnel wants to hear from you. We are seeing candidates with sporting backgrounds for roles in the Blackpool area. Working at one, or a number of our client secondary schools across Blackpool , starting immediately, you will engage in a range of tasks to get a full feel of what it would be like to be a teacher. From supporting pupils with their studies in small groups and 1:1, to assisting class teachers across all departments including your specialism and getting involved with planning/delivering your own lessons!

If you have a degree and are aspiring to progress into Teaching, Future Teachers will enable you to achieve your goals. With access to this graduate programme, you will have the opportunity to gain a year’s invaluable experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant with one of our reputable partner secondary schools in Blackpool. You will then progress with the same school to do your teacher training.

We are looking for candidates with varying levels of experience, but some experience working with children (ideally 11-16) is essential. You must be flexible in your approach to work, and you must be able to reach a variety of schools in the Blakpool area. Although it is not essential that you are able to drive, this would be beneficial in securing work!
