Sports Coach

Full time Sports Coach required to work at a number of secondary schools in Rochdale, supporting pupils on a 1:1 and group basis.

Working as a Sports Coach is an excellent opportunity to gain first hand experience working within a secondary school, supporting the class teacher as well as running own classes and sessions. The incoming Sports Coach will have previous experience either as a Sports Coach, Teaching Assistant or in a similar capacity supporting young people. This would also be an excellent opportunity for any recent graduates seeking further experience working within a secondary school setting before enrolling on their PGCE or similar Teacher Training Programme.

-              Full time and part time Sports Coach hours available, dependent on your preferences and needs of the school you are working in

Whilst working as a Sports Coach, you will have the opportunity to support pupils in a number of secondary schools in the Rochdale area, as you support both KS3 and GCSE pupils with extra curricular activities and sports coaches, as well as helping within the PE department during school time and assisting with the set up and smooth running of practical lessons.

Previous experience in a secondary school or as a Sports Coach would be beneficial, however we would welcome applications from anybody who has supported young people in a similar capacity or anyone who is considering a career in education and would like to build up further experience in a secondary school environment.
