Due to a gap within their support team, our client school in Stockport require a flexible Sports Coach to deliver PE sessions and a range of other support areas including English and Maths.

This is an unqualified teaching role which will provide those considering a teacher training course in the future with the ideal experience!

If you have previous experience working with young people within an educational capacity this is an excellent opportunity to gain paid school based experience.

The successful Sports Coach will be joining a well established secondary school in Stockport which achieves outstanding results. Students at the school receive an all round education and are encouraged to pay particular attention to the core skills of English, Mathematics, Science and ICT. The school is a short drive from the M60 and is easily accessible by surrounding areas in South Manchester.

Within this role the incoming Sports Coach/Cover Supervisor will hold a range of responsibilities including;

• Deliver engaging sports and PE sessions to pupils across Key Stages 3-4, alongside the class teacher and or independently where required.
• Deliver pre-planned lessons within other subject areas in the absence of class teachers, where applicable.
• Support the delivery of extra curriculum sporting activities and sessions.
• Positively manage behaviour in accordance with school behaviour policies.
