Due to an increase in staff absences our client secondary school in Oldham is currently seeking a Sports Graduate on a full time basis from Easter. This position will initially be until May half term with the potential to continue.
** This is an excellent opportunity for any Sports Graduate who is an aspiring teacher to gain experience prior to starting their teacher training. **
- Full time Sports Graduate position, starting at Easter

Situated in Oldham the school is easily accessible via the M60 motorway with a range of public transport links a short walk away from the school. Originally the school was built on two separate sites and was combined into a purpose built secondary to allow students to reach all areas of the curriculum, this is a larger than average secondary with over 1200 student's currently on roll, with the majority of students coming from the surrounding areas and being of White British origin.
About the role
As a Sports Graduate you will be responsible for covering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the teacher, this will predominantly be in the PE department covering both practical and theory based lessons. Additionally the incoming sports graduate will ensure students are keeping in line with the behaviour management policy and liaising with the classroom teacher on the performance and progress of all students.
Working as a Sports Graduate in our client secondary school will enhance your behaviour management skills and classroom presence prior to starting your teacher training.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
