A specialist SEN School on the outskirts of Bradford are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team this term.
The school provides alternative education for learners aged 4-11 with a wide range of Special Educational Needs including Autistic Spectrum Conditions, Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties and Speech, Language and Communication Needs.
The successful applicant will join an experienced multi-disciplinary team comprised of SEN Teachers, Learning Support Staff, Educational Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists, Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists. You will be expected to liaise with key professionals, and parents/carers to help develop individual support plans and implement Education, Health and Care Plans.
This is a challenging and demanding role which requires an experienced candidate with a passion for supporting the development of young people with additional needs. You will be resilient and prepared to go the extra mile to gain the rewards that come with a specialist support role.
In return for your passion and dedication, you will receive access to CPD courses with Leeds Trinity University and Team Teach.
