We are currently recruiting for the role of a Primary school teacher in the Didsbury area for a school supporting children with profound, complex and challenging needs.
All children within the school have Education Health Care Plans therefore it is essential that candidates are organised and adaptable to meet the needs of the students, whilst being innovative and pragmatic.
Teachers are supported in class with Teaching assistants who will help multiple students with behaviour and learning, whilst the teacher is expected to deliver the curriculum and create an enthusiastic and supportive learning environment.
The school are looking to employ a Primary teacher continue to deliver their holistic approach to learning whilst being able to cope with children on all levels of the spectrum. Candidates can expect students to have needs such as SLD, PMLD, ASC and will need a knowledge of speech and language therapy/ PECS.
Experience required for this role includes:
- A knowledge of the Primary curriculum
- Experience working within a specialist school
- Experience with younger primary children
Essentials required for this role are;
- QTS
- Child Workforce DBS registered to the Update Service
