Special Educational Needs Maths Teacher Required!

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking individuals who are confident in relaying all aspects of the Maths curriculum. This position will require Teachers to engage with and relay core aspects of the Maths curriculum to individuals with a complex variety of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH).

Applying candidates must have full knowledge and be confident in relaying all core aspects of the specific curriculum. As an SEMH Teacher you will be required to support and deliver the curriculum on a group basis and be able to work alongside other professionals including social workers, local authorities to ensure the child's lesson plans are accessible. This may include differentiating lesson plans and working with great improvisation due to late calls/placements.

Requirements:

All positions will operate between 8.30am and 3:30pm. If you are interested in flexible working options in schools we have a variety of vaccines open.

Previous experience working with individuals experiencing Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH) is preferred, but it is not required, as applicants with an open and outgoing mind-set can be successful. This position is challenging, but rewarding as you will have the opportunity to influence and educate the development of young adults.

Salary:

Dependant on experience and qualifications successful candidates can earn between £110.00 and £130.00 per day.

Education:

  • Bachelors (2:1 or above)
  • PGCE

In addition if you're interested in gaining new qualifications, Teaching Personnel offer development courses through our CPD Academy; such as Autism Awareness, Safeguarding and Team Teach.
