Job description

Location: Secondary Schools Across Wigan & Warrington
Start Date: Exam Season (Spring/Summer 2026)
Type: Seasonal / Block Bookings Available
Additional Work: Opportunities for Cover Supervisor and General Cover Work

We are currently recruiting reliable and professional Exam Invigilators to support secondary schools across the Wigan and Warrington areas during the upcoming exam seasons. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking flexible, school-based work with the option to take on additional cover roles throughout the year.


Role Responsibilities

  • Ensure exam rooms are set up according to JCQ and school regulations
  • Supervise students during examinations and maintain a calm, controlled environment
  • Manage exam materials securely and accurately
  • Assist with candidate queries in line with exam guidelines
  • Monitor for any irregularities and report issues promptly
  • Support with the collection and organisation of exam papers

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Professional, reliable, and punctual
  • Ability to follow procedures accurately
  • Previous school experience is beneficial but not essential
  • Must be willing to complete a DBS check (or have one on the update service)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
