To be considered you will need to be a bright graduate who has an impressive academic record along with a 2:1 or better in your degree and experience supporting SEN children in a previous role. This vacancy is open to those who have natural relationship building skills and a dedication to succeed in the role. You will have the skills to be consistently caring and supportive and face challenging situations with a confident nature. The Speech and Language Teaching Assistant will arrive with the determination and passion to begin your dream career in education and this role will help you on your way to starting that career.
In this KS1 Speech and Language Teaching Assistant post you will be supporting the learning of a specific Year 2 pupil who needs individual support with communication and Speech and Language. This is a rare opportunity to earn a School Direct at the same school and the Special Educational Needs Coordinator will guide you through the placement and further training. To further your skills as a Speech and Language Teaching Assistant the school are offering to place on their enviable CPD scheme that has helped many aspiring teachers reach new levels of confidence and ability that has helped them across their careers, including the Headteacher who was originally a trainee teacher at the school.
