About the Role
We are working with a welcoming, inclusive primary school where every child is known, valued, and supported to achieve their full potential. We are seeking a committed and compassionate SENDco to lead and further develop our SEND provision, ensuring high-quality support and positive outcomes for pupils with additional needs.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced SENDCo or an aspiring leader with a strong commitment to inclusive practice and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the school’s SEND provision in line with the SEND code of practice

Identify, assess, and support pupils with SEND, ensuring individual needs are met

Develop and review EHCPs and provision maps

Work closely with class teachers to promote inclusive, high-quality teaching

Liaise effectively with parents/carers, external agencies, and professionals
-
Monitor and evaluate the impact of SEND interventions and provision
-
Ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with statutory requirements

Contribute to whole-school improvement and safeguarding practices
The Successful Candidate Will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Have a strong understanding of SEND legislation and inclusive practice

Demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills

Be empathetic, reflective, and passionate about your role

Be able to work collaboratively as part of a supportive leadership team
