A thriving secondary academy in Wellingborough is seeking a dedicated and proactive SENDCo to lead and strengthen inclusive provision across the school. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate professional to make a meaningful difference to the lives of young people and help shape an inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

• Lead and develop high-quality SEND provision across the academy
• Champion inclusive practice and remove barriers to learning
• Coordinate interventions and support for students with SEND
• Ensure compliance with SEND legislation and the SEND Code of Practice
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff to embed inclusive classroom strategies
• Liaise effectively with families, external agencies, and other stakeholders
• Oversee EHCP processes and maintain accurate SEND records
• Support students in achieving the best possible educational outcomes

About You

We are looking for a qualified teacher who:

• Is committed to inclusive education and improving outcomes for all learners
• Holds, or is willing to complete, the National Award for SEN Coordination
• Has experience supporting students with a range of SEND needs
• Demonstrates excellent communication and organisational skills
• Works effectively as part of a collaborative team
• Is passionate about creating positive opportunities for every student
