Lecturer in Animal Welfare and Management
Salary: £28,056.00 – £34,492.00 per annum
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent, 37 weeks per year
Location: Moulton, NN3
About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Animal Welfare and Management Lecturer to join our dedicated team in Moulton. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to inspire and support students studying animal welfare, animal management, and related subjects.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging and practical lessons, contribute to curriculum development, and support students in achieving their academic and career goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching across animal welfare and management programmes
- Prepare lesson plans, learning materials, and assessments
- Monitor and support student progress and achievement
- Maintain accurate student records and reports
- Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement
- Ensure safe working practices within animal care environments
- Participate in departmental meetings, open days, and enrichment activities
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Animal Welfare, Animal Management, or a related field
- Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one
- Industry experience within animal care or animal management
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Passion for education and student development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
