Are you a caring and committed individual with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs? Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to join inclusive and nurturing primary schools across Harrogate.

About the Role:

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
• Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a range of special educational needs (SEN)
• Assist with the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs)
• Support children with communication, sensory, emotional, and behavioural needs
• Work alongside teachers and SENCOs to adapt learning materials and activities
• Promote a positive, inclusive learning environment that supports pupil development

About You:

• Previous experience supporting children with SEN (e.g., autism, ADHD, speech & language needs) is highly desirable
• A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to supporting pupils
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A Level 2 or 3 TA qualification (desirable but not essential)
• An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one)
