Are you an experienced SENCo looking for a new role?
Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator for our client, an Ofsted rated ‘good’ secondary school in Burnley. You will be in charge of providing pupils with disabilities and special educational needs with the additional support required in order for them to best perform in their studies.
- Full time
- £140 - £180 a day
Responsibilities to include:
- Overseeing all SEN support and funding for the school
- Liaising with the headteacher, heads of departments and relevant bodies to collaborate on the best course of action for each student.
- Assessing the specific educational needs of each pupil and orchestrating the best support plan for their individual needs.
- Preparing and leading specific training on SEN support
- Ensuring that school policies and procedures are in line with the latest governmental SEN policies and regulations and statutory responsibilities.
