Teaching Personnel are looking for SEN tutors for the new academic year.
Our specialist SEN tutors work 1:1 with students mainly throughout Dorset. Weekly sessions are booked normally in school time but sometimes after school.Our tutors work flexibly and in a location that works best for them. This is a chance for you to make a real difference whilst earning some of the highest tutoring rates.
For the autism specialist tutor position you will need:
- QTS;
- at least 4 years experience teaching and assessing English and Maths in primary and/or secondary schools;
- at least 2 years experience working with special educational needs including ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, ADD, PDA and global developmental delay (ideal);
- an outstanding understanding of how to develop social communication skills;
- 100% passion for education, commitment, reliability and honesty;
- to creatively apply differentiated techniques to planning and teaching;
- excellent communication, literacy and numeracy skills;
- incredible patience;
You will need to:
- plan and prepare lessons in accordance to student's individual needs;
- assess and monitor
- report and assess pupil behaviour;
- record student's progress and provide grades and written feedback;
- deliver tailored teaching activities to pupils on a one-to-one basis basis;
