Job description

SEN Tutor Role – Tonbridge

Help Students Find Their Way Back to Learning

For some young people, education needs to look different—and that’s where you come in.

TP Tutors is looking for compassionate and reliable SEN Tutors in Tonbridge to deliver one-to-one support that helps students rebuild confidence and make meaningful progress.

Role: SEN Tutor
Location: Tonbridge & nearby areas
Hours: Flexible – choose what works for you

Your Impact
You’ll be supporting learners who need a personalised approach, helping them feel safe, understood, and capable.

  • Plan and deliver tailored sessions based on individual needs
  • Work with students with SEN such as autism, ADHD, and SEMH
  • Create a calm, structured learning environment
  • Support both academic progress and emotional development
  • Deliver sessions in homes or local community settings

  • Experience working with children or young people
  • Strong English and maths skills
  • A patient, adaptable, and empathetic nature
  • Ability to travel within Tonbridge and surrounding areas
  • A commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
