Help Every Learner Reach Their Full Potential

TP Tutors is seeking passionate SEN Tutors to provide high-quality one-to-one tuition across Sherborne and the surrounding areas.

Our tutors support children and young people with autism, ADHD, SEMH, learning difficulties, and other additional needs by delivering personalised lessons that encourage progress, confidence, and independence.

Location: Sherborne and surrounding areas
Contract: Flexible part-time and full-time opportunities
Pay: £25–£30 per hour
Delivery: One-to-one tuition in schools, community venues, or learners' homes

The Role

  • Provide personalised tuition based on each learner's individual needs
  • Deliver engaging lessons using creative and adaptable teaching methods
  • Support learners in developing confidence, resilience, and independence
  • Monitor progress and complete accurate session documentation
  • Communicate effectively with parents, carers, schools, and other professionals

Skills and Experience

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN/SEND
  • Teaching, tutoring, mentoring, youth work, Teaching Assistant, or similar educational experience
  • Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection
  • Ability to travel across Sherborne and nearby areas
  • Strong organisational and communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
