SEN Tutor – Poole
Flexible One-to-One Tuition Roles with TP Tutors
TP Tutors is seeking dedicated SEN Tutors to deliver personalised one-to-one tuition throughout Poole and the surrounding areas.
We work with children and young people who have a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, learning difficulties and those who require extra support to reconnect with education. If you're passionate about helping learners achieve their goals through tailored teaching, we'd love to hear from you.
Location: Poole and surrounding areas
Contract Type: Flexible part-time and full-time opportunities
Pay: £25–£30 per hour
Delivery: One-to-one tuition delivered in schools, community settings or learners' homes

The Role
As an SEN Tutor, you will:
- Deliver engaging one-to-one sessions designed around each learner's individual needs
- Prepare lessons that encourage academic achievement and personal growth
- Adapt your teaching methods to suit different learning styles
- Support learners in building confidence, independence and resilience
- Record learner progress and complete session reports
- Develop positive relationships with learners, parents, carers and education professionals
Essential Requirements
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEN/SEND
- Previous experience in teaching, tutoring, mentoring, youth work, teaching assistance or education support
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection practices
- Ability to travel across Poole and nearby areas
- Excellent communication and organisational skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
