Job description

Inspire Success Through Individual Tuition

TP Tutors is recruiting dedicated SEN Tutors to deliver personalised one-to-one tuition across Christchurch and nearby communities.

You'll work with learners who have additional educational needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties, helping them overcome challenges and make meaningful progress through tailored learning.

Location: Christchurch and surrounding areas
Contract: Flexible part-time and full-time opportunities
Pay: £25–£30 per hour
Delivery: One-to-one tuition in schools, community venues, or learners' homes

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging tuition sessions tailored to individual learning needs
  • Adapt teaching strategies to support learner progress
  • Encourage confidence, motivation, and independent learning
  • Maintain accurate records of learner development
  • Build effective relationships with schools, parents, carers, and professionals

Essential Requirements

  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEN/SEND
  • Previous experience in education, tutoring, mentoring, youth work, or similar roles
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection practices
  • Ability to travel within Christchurch and surrounding areas
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
