SEN Tutor
Salary:
£25 - £35 Per hour
Job Duties:
- Provide tailored support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Create individualised learning plans to meet the diverse needs of students
- Deliver engaging lessons and activities to enhance students' academic and social development
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for students
Required Qualifications:
- Relevant qualification in Special Education or related field
- Experience working with students with SEN
- Knowledge of SEN support strategies and interventions
Education:
Degree in Special Education or relevant field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years in a similar role
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of SEN regulations and best practises
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
- Organisational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional certifications in SEN support
- Experience working in a variety of educational settings
Working Conditions:
The role involves working with students in educational settings, collaborating with professionals and parents, and adapting to the individual needs of students with SEN. The position is part-time and temporary, requiring flexibility in working hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
