SEN Tutor
Salary:
£25 - £35 Per hour
Job Duties:
- Provide tailored support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Create individualised learning plans to address specific needs and learning goals.
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance students' understanding and progress.
- Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students.
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience working with students with SEN in an educational setting.
- Understanding of different learning styles and strategies to support diverse needs.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring students with SEN.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong knowledge of SEN policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
- Organisational skills to manage lesson planning and student progress effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional training in SEN education or related field.
- Experience using assistive technology to support student learning.
Working Conditions:
- Part-Time hours, flexible schedule.
- Work in educational settings such as schools or learning centres.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
