SEN Tutor

Recruiting for September 2025!
We are seeking SEN Tutors within the Leicestershire area to work with primary and secondary aged children, covering English and Maths with flexible hours.
WHAT A 1:1 TUTOR ROLE ENTAILS:
- Planning and preparing lessons and resources.
- Conducting assessments to see what level your pupil is working at.
- Building strong relationships with your pupil to help them want to engage in education.
- Follow EHCP/Educational plans that have been put in place.
- Complete online session reports at the end of each session.
WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU AS A TUTOR WITH US:
- We are a national company so you will have access to an increased volume of tuition work. Once registered, you will have a dedicated consultant who will explain how tuition works and how your journey will look with TP Tutors.
- Referrals to support primary, secondary and post 16 aged students with subject specific areas. Children may be in a mainstream setting, special educational needs or alternate provision setting or without a school place and fall under the local authority awaiting a suitable school place.
- Bespoke online reporting platform- 24/7 access to enable you to log immediate attendance details, feedback and assessments.
- Hourly rate of £25.00, which is paid weekly.
- Access to free safeguarding and CPD courses as well as free access to assessment tools and resources.
WHAT IS ESSENTIAL FOR A TUTOR WORKING WITH TP:
- Right to work in the UK.
- Two years minimum teaching experience.
- 'Child Only' DBS registered on the Update Service, or this can be applied for through us.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
