SEN Tutor

Salary:

£25 - £35 Per hour

Job Duties:

• Provide individualised academic support to students with special educational needs (SEN)
• Develop and implement tailored learning plans based on students' needs
• Assess students' progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' learning goals
• Utilise a variety of teaching methods to engage students and enhance their learning experience

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience working with students with SEN
• Knowledge of SEN practises and strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding of SEN Code of Practise
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
• Strong organisational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs
• Training in specific SEN interventions

Working Conditions:

• Part-time hours, flexible schedule
• Work primarily in a school setting
• Potential travel to students' homes may be required

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
