JOB DESCRIPTION: SEN TUTOR
Location: South East England, Berkshire, Bracknell
Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time
Salary: £20 - £35 Per hour
Job Duties:
- Provide tailored academic support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in a one-on-one setting
- Create individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities
- Implement specialised teaching techniques to help students overcome learning barriers
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure student success
Required Qualifications:
- Hold a relevant teaching qualification
- Experience working with individuals with SEN
- Strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of SEN legislation and best practises
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional certifications in SEN education
- Experience working with a diverse range of SEN conditions
Working Conditions:
- Part-time hours, flexible schedule
- Work in a supportive and collaborative educational environment
- Potential travel to student homes or educational settings

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
