SEN Teaching Assistant (Full and Part Time)

Teaching Personnel are the leading recruitment agency for Education, covering England and Wales and we have a number of partnerships with schools in Redcar. We are working on behalf of secondary schools in Redcar to recruit for committed individuals with experience of supporting young people. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to support pupils with SEN aged 11-16.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Have experience working with children and young people with SEN
- Have a confident and friendly personality
- Remain calm in stressful situations
- Show a genuine interest of working with children and young people
The successful Teaching Assistant will support students in class across the subject areas, and deliver targeted interventions to students on a 1:1 basis during lessons and break times. Further to this, Teaching Assistants will have the opportunity to cover lessons in the absence of the class teacher, which is great experience of classroom and behaviour management.
Teaching Personnel are also working in partnership with a number of leading, nationally recognised CPD providers, outstanding local schools and Universities to deliver an extensive range of career developing opportunities. Working with Teaching Personnel will provide you with ongoing professional growth, career enhancing development and a basis for an outstanding start to a career in any sector of education.
