SEN Teaching Assistant

A Special Educational Needs School in North Hykeham is currently in search of a Teaching Assistant to work on a full time basis. The school ranges from Early Years up to 6th Form with various needs. 

In this specific role, you will be supporting across classes of students with Autism and Moderate Learning Difficulties. As the successful Teaching Assistant, you will be required to work on a whole class basis, but also be flexible to move around the school to where the support is needed. 

The ideal candidate will be required to:

• Support as a general TA within the classroom
• Work on a 1:1 basis where needed
• Engage with students and build a strong rapport with them
• Be confident to get involved with students and talk to them on their level
• Have experience with Special Educational Needs such as Autism and MLD
